Handheld data device, of the type used by Dr. Shannon and her staff. The same model is also commonly kept for personal use by residents of Terra Nova, including Dr. Shannon's daughter Mandy who refers to the device as a 'Plexi', and is also seen in use by Skye Tate as she uses the colony supercomputer to help Lucas Taylor solve the two-way time travel equations.  Larger display area in a smaller lighter package, although less rugged, as compared to the Terra Nova Security tablet.
