“This stunt knife was used on screen by Sean Connery as ‘John Patrick Mason’. It can be seen after the shootout between General Hummel's (Ed Harris) soldiers and Commander Anderson's (Michael Biehn) soldiers. Only Mason and Goodspeed (Nicolas Cage) are left alive to stop the deployment of the chemical weapons. Mason takes a gun and a knife from a dead soldier's body. It is a plastic stunt knife with a black grip and a serrated edge on one side. Engraved on the blade is Gerber U.S.A. and BMF 043440.”

After he lethally throws the knife at a thug’s neck, Mason declares, “You must never hesitate.”
