"Can I keep you?" A screen-matched plaster hand casting from Casper (1995), this was used as set dressing inside the friendly ghost’s old boyhood room, where he finally begins to remember who he was when he was alive. Casper places his hand inside the casting and says with astonishment, “I had five fingers. I remember!” Casper then takes Kat (Christina Ricci) to the attic and finds his mother’s old dress for her to wear at the Halloween party later that night. Measuring 8” across, the prop can be easily matched to the one used in the film by comparing the indentation marks on the hand and the smudge above the thumb.
