This is a hero version of the dolphin phaser from Sar Trek: Nemesis.  It has rubber grips, and also opens up to reveal the power cells.  It has four firing sound effects, each with a different effect on the light in the emitter.  There is a screen accurate beep when the power meter is increased.  There is an overload effect as well as a voice message using the same computer voice from the series which warns the power level is low.
