Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones, Yoda's Limited Edition Lightsaber

Master Replicas movie prop

The lightsaber that many of us wondered even existed. Yoda's appearence in episode 2 was the first time the character was fully CGI'd and for good reason. His ending duel with Count Dooku surprised fans as the seemlngly feeble jedi master master forted and launched a series of quick and powerful attacks, complete with wide swings and aerial acrobatics. Every aspect of Yoda, from costume, to skin, to prop, was computer generated. That being said, there was no acutal lightsaber hilt used in the movie. The vice president of Master Replicas designed his own take on lightsaber and published the pictures in the episode 1 visual dictionary. LucasFlim would adapt that model into their own physical version; they used this as a guide to when creating the CGI'd version. It remains the smallest lightsaber hilt in the Star Wars sega. Limited Edition 48/2500.
