Xena: Warrior Princess, Xena’s scabbard by Creation Entertainment

A replica of Xena’s scabbard by the propmasters at Pacific Renaissance Pictures LTD in New Zealand, limited edition number 26. The scabbard came with a certificate of authenticity signed by the CEOs of Creation Entertainment. These replicas were licensed for a limited edition size of 500 worldwide, but the highest edition I’ve ever come across is number 35. To date, I’ve never actually seen more than 6 of these scabbards, either for sale online or in someone else’s collection, so it’s possible the production run never finished since these late editions were made to order. The material is sueded leather or some other kind of sueded fabric, and also of note is that the reverse side does not feature the typical bolt snaps that other scabbard replicas use to attach to a costume. This lack of hardware is a distinguishing feature of the Creation Entertainment Xena scabbard replicas. It also features cast-resin conchos and genuine New Zealand paua shell inlay.
