This original hand-drawn storyboard of Woody playing Solitaire by Pixar artist Ash Brannon was made for the production of Toy Story (1995). The illustration has a tack hole at the top, indicating its usage during the development of the groundbreaking first fully computer-animated motion picture.
Brannon began his career as an animation trainee on Walt Disney’s The Little Mermaid (1989). He then served as a directing animator and a story artist on Toy Story (1995) before becoming a co-writer and a co-director on Toy Story 2 (1999). He has also worked at Warner Bros. and DreamWorks.
