Whispering Iron is the stuff that all the magical Keyhouse keys are made of. It is the remains of demons that have travelled through the Black Door into our world, but were unable to immediately possess humans. Collecting more Whispering Iron by opening the Black Door is not without danger, as the Lockes past and present discover.

 

Licensed prop replica. Dull black nickel-plated pewter.

I personally would like to see a prop replica with a more bizarre and irregular shape and finish, as depicted in the comics.
