The main function of a Vortex Manipulator is to transport the user through time and space via the Time Vortex. Used by Time Agent Captain Jack Harkness, the Family of Blood, Captain John Hart, River Song, the Eleventh Doctor, and Clara Oswald.
Early version of the VM (which underwent minor changes throughout the series) by Rubbertoe Replicas made from real leather and stitched with a combination of machine and hand stitching. The main face of the device is made from SLA resin and is sprayed silver, as per the original screen-used prop. The device features working LED lights powered by a button cell battery accessed from the underside.
