Licensed replica of a Colonial Marine's best personal friend. Resin and metal construction, including aluminum shrouds, retractable steel shoulder stock, and steel barrel vents. Magnetically secured removable magazine, which activates the '95' ammo counter display. Working main bolt and port. Working grenade launcher pump and port, but will not chamber a grenade. Triggers move but are inactive and fragile. In natural light, this Olive Drab PR looks like the prop appeared to be colored in the movie. Under this light, though, the Brown Bess looks better to my eye.

A reasonable piece for the price, particularly as regards the metal shrouds, which many hobbyists will scavenge to incorporate into otherwise better PRs. Quality control and customer service issues have led to some dissatisfaction with this item, which was highly anticipated.
