Star Trek: The Original Series, Type-II Hand Phaser

This is a reproduction of a stunt, or "crapazoid", phaser as seen on TOS. Also sometimes referred to as the "$1.99 special". Used for stunt scenes where the props might get thrown around, and also for far-away camera shots. These had no metal parts and no working parts, unlike the hero or mid-grade versions. As these were made of vacu-formed plastic, any body details were greatly diminished. Also made of vacu-formed plastic, this was a commissioned build done for my collection. The second pic shows the kit as I first received it, clearly with some work to be done as the previous owner had never finished it. Just a comparison pic to show the progression from beginning to finished product.
