Sanctuary, Time Node (Rifting Device)

original movie prop

Time - It's like paper, you can fold it up any way you want.

Former Helen Magnus colleague, and the basis for Robert Louis Stevenson's Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Adam Worth first appears in third season episode Breach, in which he traps Magnus in a building where the passage of time is dramatically accelerated, while everything outside appear to stand still.  Magnus finds several of these glowing nodes attached to the ceilings and walls around the old warehouse. In addition to creating the time compression field, these semi-organic mechanisms have the odd property of allowing Adam Worth to teleport, or 'rift', instantaneously from one point to another, within their range of influence.

In subsequent episode Pax Romana, Worth again uses a rifting device, this time activating it near a vault in the underground city of Praxis, allowing him to rift into the vault and steal a dangerously unstable antimatter-based energy source.

Resin body with translucent white acrylic dome.  Bright blue dome illumination activated by a concealed switch.  Three strong magnets on the back allow for attachment to steel surfaces, as Worth does with the device in Pax Romana. Includes the magnetically latched aluminum carrying case also seen onscreen.
