The Dark Crystal, The Crystal Shard

This is a fan-made replica of the crystal shard that Jen was given to make the broken Dark Crystal whole again and restore goodness and light to his darkened world. Measuring 6.5 inches long by 2 inches wide and made of actual cut and polished crystal, this is the only accurate replica known to be made to date. The maker of this piece originally offered two versions; one clear (which is how it looked throughout most of the film) and one purple (which is how it looked when Jen would play his flute and activate its power).
