Star Trek: The Original Series, TOS communicator

Heavily modified STTE communicator replica. Grill stripped and polished. Shells painted and buffed with steel wool. Midplate, moiré ring, and control panel, chrome finish sanded off and buffed. Grill replaced. Buttons replaced with Aurora T-jet hubs. Jewels replaced with inverted T-jet hubs, and Swarovski jewels. Moiré discs replaced with 3000dpi reproductions of original Edmond Scientific pattern. No longer in my collection, kept for illustration
Green LED replaced with blinking LED. Red LED replaced with brighter, model railroad type LED.
