Star Trek: The Original Series, TOS PHASER-I PROP-REPLICA

This is a full-scale prop-replic of the Original Series Phaser-I. I built this phaser from a Roddenberry kit and added electronics for a phaser sound effect and bright blue phaser beam. The kit is cast resin with metal deflector strips (side rails), a rotating metal thumb-wheel, brass beam emitter, and metal trigger stud (underside). I built this phaser using the kit's heavy cast metal electron aspirator grid - even following the kit's instructions, I've not been able to 'polish' this part to a decent shine and much prefer the version I built using a pressed foil grid.
