This Cricket Phaser was made during and for the run of Star Trek: The Next Generation. It is a static hero prop. It has been confirmed by the original prop maker that this is the very item that was rented to Star Trek: Voyager for the one and only appearance of a Cricket Phaser in that series. The Voyager episode is 'In The Flesh' and the Cricket was fired by the character of Chakotay. The tell for this item is the small cracks in the red glass at the emitter end of the Cricket.
