Titanic, Stunt Life Vest

This is a stunt life vest from the James Cameron blockbuster Titanic. I was told only about 10 have been made. The vest is very well worn and has extra long straps for holding it very tight during the stunt. This vest is based on a regular live vest used by all the extras in the film and has been modified with an internal metal plate and 4 furniture casters, allowing the stunt man to coast along the deck of the sinking ship. This props is very heavy!
