This is an original Story Outline from the Star Trek: The Original Series that I picked up as part of a set several years ago.

It is supposed to be a file copy from the personal, archived files of Gene Roddenberry.

This document is dated August 27, 1968, and is the (first) Revised Story Outline for 'Joanna' (later became 'The Way To Eden') written by D.C. Fontana and later credited to her pen name Michael Richards since she became unhappy with a rewrite to the script. 

The title 'Joanna' refers to Dr. McCoy's daughter but the character was later changed to a different person.
