It, Statue of the IT Girl Clara Bow

original production material

A statue of the IT Girl, as represented by a waif with horns, cloven feet and angel wings. The original figure was presented to Clara Bow herself in 1928, at the Roosevelt Hotel, in a special dinner in her honor. The film IT established Bow as a leading box office draw and her flapper personification launched many similar films. This only other known example is mounted as a lamp. Clara kept hers and it can be seen in photos of her home.
