BioShock Infinite (video game), Sky-Hook
replica movie prop
In the dystopian floating city-state of Columbia, set in an alternate history during the era of American Exceptionialism, this device, worn on the forearm, can be used to travel the Sky-Line between the different parts of the city and its many islands, simply by hooking on. And in the right hands, such as those of the game's protagonist Booker Dewitt, the Sky-Hook also makes for a decent melee weapon.
Full-size licensed prop replica, made primarily of plastic with metal and faux leather components. Nicely detailed with turn-of-the-(twentieth)-century engravings taken from in-game models. Pulling the trigger mechanically extends the grapple arm and spins the gears and 3 latched hooks, accompanied by a superb ratching sound. No electronics.
From Irrational Games and NECA.
