The Dark Crystal, Skeksis Finger Cutlery

I am listing these props as replicas because they were not production used, but calling them replicas doesn't do them justice at all! I am fortunate to be friends with the original craftsman who created the 10 production sets used in the Dark Crystal, and he was kind enough to make me this set in early 2009. This is the 11th set ever made, making it the first non-production made set. This set is made from his original molds which he has kept all these years using a slightly higher quality pewter than he had in the 80's. The set has the same nine shavorsky crystals fitted and is made from the same fifteen individually cast pewter pieces that have to be soldered together using the same metal as they are cast from. Even though this set wasn't made in the 80's, it's as authentic as it gets!
