Clash of the Titans, Sheikh Sulieman Djinn head

This full size detailed sculpture was saved from the rubbish discarded by the production, it is cast in resin over biscuit foam and the body it was attached to was dumped after use, a crew member tried to save it intact but the damaged body broke away so only the head could be saved. It may have been an art department mockup of the character but I am told it was used on set in the background so possibly as a stand-in to block out shots. The eye slits are cut out as well as other hole details and the middle is hollow, some areas of the paintwork are feinter where a fabric wrap once lay around it.
