Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever, Sever's Nano-bot Scanner

This is Sever's scanning device she uses to get the nano-bot out of the child she kidnaps. It's a piece of machined aluminum with a switch on top and a couple of LEDs inside it (the small hole is the switch). When the button is pressed, the LEDs light up to 'scan'. It also has a USB port on the so it can be connected to a computer (as seen in the movie). The USB port isn't actually connected to anything though. There's a panel on the bottom that can be removed so you can replace the batteries.
Here you can see it attached to Sever's belt, and then later as she's scanning the childs arm and removing the nano-bot. If you look closely at his arm just ahead of the scanner, you can make out the faint blue-purple glow created by the LEDs inside the scanner. Special Effects also added two other lights to the device in post production.
