This pair of tall black stools is featured as crew seating in the far right background on deck of the Tarellian vessel. It is designed by Peter Opsvik, called “Garden Bar Stool,” from 1985 for Stokke, Norway, with black leather cushions, ebonized wood supports, and wool-carpeted base. Also seen in the episodes: Redemption, Part 1 (1991), Redemption, Part 2 (1991), and Parallels (1993). See also the matching “Garden Chair” by Peter Opsvik, all three first seen together in “Haven.” Several of Peter Opsvik’s other chair designs were used on the sets of TNG.
