This is a screen-used background sword comprised of a urethane foam blade and a resin hilt cast over a metal rod armature. The design incorporates intricate scrollwork over the hilt. Throughout all six seasons of the series, swords of this style were used by various baddies of the week, minor characters, and extras playing bandits and warlord toadies. Xena and Gabrielle even picked one up on occasion.
