Charles Kaznyk's (Riley Griffiths) costume from J.J. Abrams 2011 sci-fi thriller, Super 8. In the film, a group of young kids filming a home movie witness a terrifying trail derailment, and subsequently begin to investigate the strange events that occur in their small town after a creature escapes from the wreckage. This costume can be seen worn by Charles, throughout the film.
Included in this set a mustard yellow windbreaker jacket, striped t-shirt, blue jeans, striped socks, and leather shoes. Although crafted to appear like vintage clothing, most items in this set were created for the production and include tags from "Costume Co-Op." Charles' windbreaker is made from a nylon material and seals up the front with three snap buttons. The jacket includes one breast pocket and features wing tip collars. Charles' shirt has been constructed from a cotton/wool blend and is white with blue and green stripes with a creme colored collar.
Below the waist are Charles' jeans that have been crafted from blue denim with golden yellow stitching. The pants have a stretchy elastic waistband, allowing for a comfortable fit, and include four pockets with a zipper fly and snap button closure. Also included are a pair of white socks with green and yellow stripes, and a pair of Clarks Original Wallabee suede boots that resemble moccasins with a thick rubber sole.
Please note that this costume was custom made and does not feature any sizing information, however it does include tags indicating that it was worn in scenes 153-182. Charles' wardrobe remains in excellent worn condition.
