Star Trek: The Original Series, Scotty Engineering Tool

Another of Scotty's amazing diagnostic instruments, this piece is seen in only a few episodes, most prominently during The Galileo Seven, where Scotty uses one to monitor and control the delicate transfer of energy from hand phasers to the disabled and marooned Galileo shuttlecraft.  Also glimpsed in episodes Space Seed, Devil in the Dark, and The Enterprise Incident.  As with most of Scotty's tools, this device is unnamed onscreen, and has been given the moniker of 'magnatomic scope' by the propmaker.

Machined aluminum handle, with 6 lasercut aluminum plate heatsinks and enamelled multipart custom cast resin scope head.  No electronics.
