A stop-motion graveyard horse head from Henry Selick's stop-motion fantasy musical The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skellington (Chris Sarandon) woke up in a graveyard surrounded by destroyed toys, including rocking horses, after his sleigh was shot out of the sky by the military. You can see this piece in the center of the screen when they pan around Jack.

This lot consists of a wooden horse head painted black with thin white lines simulating wood grain, a white wooden mane, a brown twine halter, and red plastic sequins on the neck. Beyond being intentionally weathered by production, the horse head is in good overall condition with some signs of wear including scuffs and chips in the wood.
