Rahm Kota was a Human Jedi Master who served as a General for the Republic during the Clone Wars. Unlike other Grand Army commanders, Kota had no use for clone troopers, believing them unfit for battle. Their absence allowed Rahm and his militia to escape Order 66 unscathed, surviving to oppose the new Galactic Empire. Although subsequently blinded in battle with Darth Vader's secret apprentice, Kota remained a powerful Jedi, and was instrumental in forming the Rebel Alliance years later.
