Quinlan Vos was a Kiffar Jedi Master who served the Republic Army as a General during the Clone Wars. Trained as a Jedi Guardian, competent in multiple saber techniques, skilled in psychometry (reading images from inanimate objects), and one of a handful of Jedi to master Force Lightning and Force Cloak, Vos was also one of the few Jedi to completely escape the Great Jedi Purge. Quinlan's saber is stylistically similar to those of his cohorts Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Second image shows both Quinlan's and Obi-Wan's lightsabers side by side for comparison. However, Vos was not a Sith; as with this replica, his blade was green, not red.
