When writer Nick Gardenia (Chevy Chase) is kidnapped from his coastal California home and forced to rob a bank, his quiet, mundane life is suddenly thrown into tumult. Nick, realizing that he's now a felon and a fugitive, must seek help from the least likely source: his ex-wife Glenda (Goldie Hawn), the public defender. Now, she must defend her ex-husband against her current husband, the prosecutor.

This is a set of three prop license plates that were custom made for the production for use on various cars during filming. The set includes the metal license plates with applied graphics seen on the front and back of Glenda Parks' (Goldie Hawn) station wagon and the metal license plate with applied graphics seen on the police car that pulls her and her driver over for running a stop sign. The plates have some wear from use and storage, but remain in good condition. A very rare set of props from the Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn classic.
