Apocalypse Now, Production/Screenused Props and Polaroid

Found in original props used for movie Apocalypse Now – a wonderful necklace obviously made of handcarved wooden blossom pearls and a polaroid showing other necklaces – for the decoration of the US-soldiers in the movie.
The other two wonderful necklaces are obviously handcarved of wood and bone, showing a kind of blossom pearls.
Die weiße Kette ist wohl aus einer Art Knochen geschnitzt - daher auch ein höheres Gewicht von ca. 32 Gramm.
Die größte Blüte der Ketten hat einen Durchmesser von ca. 1,2 cm. Interessanter Schraubverschluß, der gleichzeitig zur Aufnahme und Befestigung des Fadens dient. Wohl vor 1976 auf den Philippinen gefertigt.
Dieser Schmuck wurde vom Chef-Requisiteur Douglas (Doug) E. Madison zur Ausstattung der US-Soldaten im Film angekauft.
