A Kathleen Quinlan Peters Lewis and Clark crew hero jacket from the production of the space horror film Event Horizon (Paramount Pictures, 1997). Quinlans character Peters (AKA Mama Bear) is the medical technician aboard the rescue vessel, Lewis and Clark.
The quilted nylon, navy blue jacket features two Lewis & Clark / United States Aerospace Command patches as well as an American flag patch, a small shield patch, and two metal insignia pins attached to the collar. There is a small name plate that reads P.O. Peters on the left breast.
Event Horizon follows the crew of the Lewis and Clark (captained by Miller), a rescue vessel investigating the strange reappearance of another vessel, the Event Horizon, designed by scientist Dr. Weir (played by Sam Neill). This cult classic was released theatrically with a runtime of 96 minutes. According to director Paul W.S. Anderson, however, the original cut was roughly 120 minutes. Much of this footage was hastily cut following a disastrous audience test screening and remains lost and/or unusable to this day.
