The Invisible, Pete Egan's Lucky #7 Shirt

original movie costume

This item was used in the movie "The Invisible" in 2007. Pete Egan was played by Chris Marquette in the movie. This item is an "Ace" vintage short sleeve shirt that is green with white stripes on both sleeves. This shirt has a griffin design on the front and the number 7 on the back side. This shirt is a size medium in men's and is very noticeable during key scenes in the movie.
You can see this shirt toward the beginning of the movie after Marcus Bohem (Alex O'Loughlin) and Annie Newton (Margarita Levieva) rob a jewelry store and fight about who is going to keep the stolen goods. Marcus in anger tells Annie that she is out of control and then he calls the police turning her in. The first time that this shirt is seen is when Pete sees Annie at school put the concealed black bag of jewelry into her locker. Nick Powell (Justin Chatwin) and Pete watch Annie walk through the school hallway looking suspicious and then right after that Annie is arrested by the police while Pete watches. For the next scenes Pete wears this shirt under his brown and tan jacket while he and Nick leave school together with their bikes. Pete tells Nick that he wants to go with him to London and they say good-bye to each other. Later that night Annie confronts Pete about getting turned into the police and he tells Annie that Nick turned her in.
