Xena: Warrior Princess, Perdicas-style sword (hero)

This is a screen-used metal sword in the style of the sword used by Perdicas and Gabrielle in “Return of Callisto.” The sword is solid cast aluminum with real leather lacing applied over the grip, almost certainly a hero version used for close-up shots to show off that characteristic shine. This style of sword was also used throughout the series by various other characters, including Ulysses in season 2 and Brunhilda in the season 6 Ring trilogy.
