True Lies, Original Section of Hawker Harrier Jet Miniature Cockpit Windshield

This is an original section of the TRUE LIES Hawker Harrier Jet Miniature cockpit windshield used in the production of the visual effects for the film produced by the legendary Digital Domain. The section is made of a very, very thick piece of plexiglas which features simulated machine-gun bullet holes and scratches etc. from the fire-fight with the Terrorists seen in the exciting climax of the James Cameron Film. In the sequence the full-size mock-up of the Harrier Jet's windshield is repeatedly hit with bullets until it falls away in pieces. This piece as matched to the full-size windshield on the smaller miniature. The Hero miniature ( fully restored ) was presented as a gift to actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and hangs in his office in Santa Monica, California. Acquired directly from a Digital Domain crew member who obtained it after completion of the VFX sequences shot for the movie.
