These costumes were worn by Thuggee Guards throughout entire sequences at the Pankot Palace. These red robes have some differences between them, some of them have one black line on the chest, some others two black lines, and some others three black lines (maybe related to a kind of hierarchy). This particular one has two lines making it potentially used by the bad guy attacking Indy in his room after the Banket sequence.
