Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Original Hoth Wampa Fur

swatch / fragment movie costume

An original piece of Hoth Wampa fur used in the production of Star Wars:

The Empire Strikes Back. This incredibly rare small section of white fur is an off cut from the original full size Hoth Wampa which was taken out to Norway for filming. The fur comes directly from Stuart Freeborn, the legendary make-up and creature effects artist who created many of the famous characters from the original trilogy of movies, including Yoda, Chewbacca and Greedo.

It is presented and preserved inside a custom built display that incorporates the memorable movie title and still of the beast in the movie. The bespoke frame measures 36.5cm x 27.5cm (14.37“ x 10.82“).
