The Terminator, Original Endo Arm

original movie prop

This is currently in the possession of a new best friend of mine. He was a stunt man for over 30 years. The story behind this goes that when they stopped filming the scene where Linda Hamilton is about to get choked and the arm was the only thing that didn't get crushed, the arm fell on the ground. It fell when they were cleaning up the crushed body of the animatronic. Stan Winston ordered a one of the guys working on it to THROW IT AWAY!! It was one of the modelers so he swept every piece up and put it in a bag in the trash. He fished it out later and rebuilt it. Little did they know the movie was a success! The arm was later traded for favors to a man named Forrest Fink who's family still runs the plastic molding company in Burbank. Forrest was a big time collector of Sports Memorabilia and again the arm was traded to my friend. My buddy "name withheld" is a former NFL player for the Atlanta Falcons and has been in films as Friday the 13th, Lethal Weapon, Batman and Robin, The Mask, Jurassic Park. I found out about him through my prop maker friends and now I'm convinced he is every bit genuine. I'm happy to display his collection on here.
We are finding out more and more about the design and reference points. NEW DEVEOLPMENT I have seen difference between all four of the ones above. I believe now, despite the original story about this that the arm we have is the one in the lower right corner. Please keep the emails coming if you have any further observations. There are no logos or trademarks on the arm and it has character similarities of Stan Winston's models.
