Stargate SG-1, Ori Prior Staff

Imposing staff carried by one of the enhanced-human Priors, representatives of the ascended godlike Ori race.  Unfortunately for those who encounter them, the Ori are religious zealots who demand the worship of all lesser mortal races, actively drawing energy from their mass devotion and destroying those that refuse to convert, with the Priors acting as their top enforcers.  Each Prior's staff was slightly different; this one belonged to Gerak, a military leader of the Free Jaffa Nation who later turned to the Book of Origin, becoming a Prior himself and a threat to other Free Jaffa, including Teal'c.

Solid resin, 72" (183 cm) in length, in the style of a sorcerer's staff carved from ancient wood. The staff head encases a translucent blue plastic orb, which glows with through-transmitted light. Bears an additional reflective-backed violet jewel, painted steel-grey symbol of the Ori, and machined metal foot cap.
