It amazes me sometimes how things end up so far away from the original location and how did it get there is always my question.The owner before me ran into this older woman who said she had this in her garage since the late 1980's. She said it was from the film Mad Max, I believe her. These are shoulder pads as you can see. There is some kind of fake fur on it, an emblem or two, two hooks and chains.The inside that would lay on your shoulder is some kind of padding and fabric, there are also fabric belts to hold it on your shoulders, pretty good shape for a film that was made back then, the film was starring Mel Gibson. There is a real metal license plate on it. It measures 25 inches wide and 13 inches high.
