This is Norma Bates beloved 1973 Mercedes... (Hero car)
There are several identifying marks around the car, such as dents on the chrome trim and rear bumper.. as well as unique marks on the interior...
There were a total of (3) cars used throughout the five seasons... This particular car saw the most screen time, because of its dependability..
The other two cars were used as stunt cars....
I obtained the car through the studio auction, after the series finale..

| The car was actually painted by the studio and not the original color....the original factory color for this car was white....
I spent a considerable amount of time trying to research the color green that the studio used, with no luck.

| Hey, what a fantastic prop to own! I wanted to bid on it when it went up on screen bid. I've been looking for one for a while but that color is impossible to find. Could you possibly check the door jam for the color code.. should be a "dbxxxx" type number/code. I'd super appreciate it. Thanks!
