Paranorman, Neil Puppet

original movie prop

A misunderstood boy takes on ghosts, zombies and grown-ups to save his town from a centuries-old curse. It is the first stop-motion film to use a 3D color printer to create character faces and only the second to be shot in 3D. This is Neil dressed as the hanging tree in the school play that is commemorating the town's witch execution from three centuries ago. This three-dimensional, screen used, handmade puppet features 3D printed cardboard panels over a costumed figure. The entire face with surrounding panel can be removed and replaced to animate the face. Approximately 12" tall, this unusual puppet showcases unbelievable attention to detail.
