Vice Principals (HBO), Mr. Gamby's Paddle from SDCC

This paddle was a promo given out at the San Diego Comic Con in 2016. This is a replica of the paddle used by the character Mr. Gabby played by Danny McBride on the HBO show, Vice Principals. The paddle is made of wood wrapped with duct tape on the handle. The paddle has an engraving "Get it" on one side (just like the one on the tv show) and the log of the show printed on the other side.

2:30–3:30 Vice Principals—Vice Principals, the new HBO comedy series starring Danny McBride and Walton Goggins, will make its Comic-Con debut with a Q&A. On stage for the Q&A, moderated by The Nerdist Podcast’s Matt Mira, will be cast members McBride, Goggins and executive producer Jody Hill. Created by McBride and Hill, who also created HBO’s Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals is a dark comedy series that tells the story of a high school and the two people who almost run it; the vice principals. McBride and Goggins star as the rival administrators, who are in an epic power struggle, vying for the top spot: to be school principal.
