Silk 2, Monique Gabrielle as "'Silk' Sleighton" Blouse

This white, red-striped blouse was worn by 80s "scream queen," star of numerous sexploitation films, and Penthouse Pet, Monique Gabrielle as Honolulu detective "'Silk' Sleighton" in the 1989 cop action thriller Silk 2.  The shirt has been signed by Monique Gabrielle with the inscription "To Allan, Love Monique Gabrielle."  It has some bleeding around the inscription and slight yellowing of fabric due to age, but is otherwise in very good condition.  The relative placement of the stripes, where they have alternating panels or meet features like buttons and collar points, are a screen-match.

This and a blue t-shirt worn by her in the film came with an LOA from Monique Gabrielle herself.  Amusingly, just after mentioning that the movie was filmed in the Philippines in 1989, she signed her name and added the handwritten date "1984."  Barring any Delorean- or TARDIS-related mishaps, I think she meant to write 1994...

The Silk films were more sexploitation-y entries into a genre of female-driven action films which were popular in the late 80s to early 90s video-rental era, epitomized by Cynthia Rothrock's films like China O'Brien, Tiger Claws, Rage and Honor, and Lady Dragon. Like too many low-budget rental favorites of the era, Silk 2 is not yet available on DVD or Blu-ray.
