Star Trek: The Next Generation, Mk VII Medical Tricorder

This is a vintage, unfinished production casting of the Mk VII Medical Tricorder used during the series. The Mk VII Tricorder also saw limited use in DS9, VOY and the first TNG film. Body made of vacu-formed styrene with vacu-formed door, just like the screen-used originals. The body and door of this one are foam-filled, presumably as this was intended to be a stunt piece? Requires basic hardware (hinges), a machined aluminum medical scanner, screen-accurate graphics and accurate automotive paints to finish.
