Independence Day, Miniature Alien with light up control panel display

This miniature was created by the production for use in the final scenes of the film when Will Smith as "Captain Steven Hiller" and Jeff Goldblum as "David Levinson" implant a virus and deploy a nuclear weapon on board the mothership. The control panel and alien are original and were used during filming. In order to display this miniature, the four rock looking formations and the large flat area of the base was made of foam pieces of the larger mothership miniature set. The foam base is loose from the wood frame. The alien and control panel measure approximately 9" from front to back, 12" from hand to hand, and 11" tall. The display base measures 34" long by 13" wide.
