Star Wars - Ep VI - Return Of The Jedi

A miniature Death Star tower from Richard Marquand's 1983 entry in the Star Wars saga, Return of the Jedi. This miniature tower comes from the climactic space battle scene in which a Super Star Destroyer crashes into the surface of the Death Star. Standing a mere 1/2" tall, this was the smallest and most basic Death Star tower made for the film, due to the scale of the shot. Made of resin, this rectangular tower was glued by the ILM model miniatures department onto the Death Star surface, and was removed following the production. The piece shows minor wear to the base of the tower from being removed from the larger filming miniature, however this piece remains in fine used condition.
