Helmet liner was pre bullet, used in episode 7 up until Snafu was nearly killed when he was a stretcher bearer at the front with Sledge taking Hillbilly off the mountainside.You can see it clearly especially in taking the bunker all markings match.The socks were used earlier in episode 7 where Snafu is sitting down and a Seabee walks up to the the group and asks if anybody has a jap sword. In the background you can see Snafu pulling off the socks.
