Iron Man 3, Men's Large Mark 42 Armor Replica Costume

made from scratch movie costume

This is a replica costume of the Iron Man Mark 42 Autonomous Prehensile Propulsion Suit from the 2013 Blockbuster: Iron Man 3.

My Iron Man Mark 42 Armor: Created for Sooner Con 2014. This suit is fully functional with many awesome features! Includes: Articulated Joint Pieces

  • Light-up LED Eyes
  • Light-up LED Hand Repulsors
  • Light-up LED Arc Reactor
  • Boot Soles
  • Lightweight EVA foam build
  • This suit is only lightly used from one day at a convention. Built to fit a Men's Large size approx. 6'+. May need some modifications in order to fit a different size. The suit functions well and is great for conventions. It has 2 battery operated fans installed in the chest piece in order to keep the inside of the suit cool. The boots have some lightweight foam soles on the bottom in order to increase durability and traction. LED lights really pull the whole suit together giving it a great look.  Note to future owner: You may want to do some further testing and improve on the suits functionality in order to better fit your specific size. There are also a few places that could use just a little touch-up paint. This suit would be awesome for any fan of Iron Man! Great for Cosplay, Halloween or display! Lots of detail. 300+ hours of dedicated hard work went into this suit. I hope you enjoy it! Contact me for any details or more pictures of specific pieces.
